The short version

The Rotarithm planner runs entirely in your web browser. Rotas, staff names, pay rates, cost centres and anything else you enter are never sent to us or to anyone else.

What stays on your device

• Your current rota is kept in your browser’s local storage so it is still there next time you open the planner on the same computer. Clearing your browser data removes it.
• Templates you save are kept the same way.
• Files you save or export are downloaded to your device. Where they go after that is up to you.
• Files you open or import are read in your browser and are not uploaded.

What we receive

Like any website, our hosting provider records standard server logs when pages are requested, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested. These are used to keep the site running and secure. They never include anything you type into the planner.

We do not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and every file the site needs, including fonts, is served from rotarithm.com.

Who we are

Rotarithm is run by Disciplina Potens. For any privacy question, email disciplinapotens@gmail.com.

Changes

If this changes, for example if we add optional features that store data online, we will update this page and say so clearly in the planner before anything is stored.
